A well defined framework and a robust reporting system contribute to the excellence of our service.
Some of the typical tasks are:

IMO has recently adopted energy efficiency strategy on the reduction of Greenhouse Gas emissions and has set the following targets:
- Energy Efficiency requirements or existing vessels from 2023
- Carbon Intensity targets for existing vessels from 2026
- Reduction of carbon intensity by 40% by 2030
- Reduction of carbon intensity by 70% by 2050 (50% total)
This means a massive industry effort toward verification of the vessel conditions and optimisation of the measures required to achieve compliance.
Bluestone supports its customers with a phased approach. First, the initial verification of compliance with the new Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI), calculation of Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII). Then, a proactive analysis of which are the most effective technical solutions to achieve compliance. Our background of ship management, new building and naval architecture, combined with our experience in retrofits of green solutions, makes Bluestone the one-stop shop to call to achieve compliance
